David Sanders gives Keynote Address at Scientific Research Integrity Workshop

Associate Professor David Sanders gave a keynote address titled, "Ethics of Scientific Publication--Deficient Institutional Responses" at a Research Integrity Workshop at the Liverpool Medical Institution in the United Kingdom on December 5. It was attended by research integrity specialists as well as members of the UK Parliament's Science and Technology Committee and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The lecture was also streamed live online. The presentation addressed the issue of who is ultimately responsible for the integrity of the research endeavor. Dr. Sanders provided examples of the problems he has encountered but also proposed potential solutions.
